The product

Processing and storage stay on your Mac. Board views are served only across your local network, never through our cloud. The hub you download runs on your machine, reads session telemetry your own tools emit, and serves the board to screens on your network. We operate no server in that path, and we cannot see your sessions, your code, or your board.

What the hub stores

Session metadata (states, labels, token counts, costs) and its own event log, all in ~/Library/Application Support/GlanceableHub on your Mac. Deleting that folder deletes the history.

Who can see the board on your network

The hub serves the board to any device on your local network that can reach it, with no password. That’s what lets a TV or an iPad show it without you pairing anything by hand, and it means anyone already on your Wi‑Fi can read the same board: session labels, folder names, quota and burn. Sending data TO the hub does need its token, so nobody on your network can put fake sessions on your wall. If your network is one you don’t control, that’s worth knowing before you leave the board up.

This website

glanceable.com is hosted on Vercel and serves static pages. If you join the beta list, we store the email you give us and use it only to contact you about Glanceable: the hub itself, updates to it, and product fixes. The hub is self‑distributed from this site rather than through the App Store, so your email is the only channel we have for that last one. There are no advertising trackers. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, or write to us and we’ll remove you.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interest, with notice given where we ask for the address. Our mailing list runs on Hostinger Reach, and the hub download is stored on Vercel Blob.

What we pass to Apple

If you join the beta, we give the Apple Account email you enter to Apple, so Apple can enrol you as a TestFlight tester and send you the invite for the Apple TV and iPad viewers. That is a transfer to a third party, and it is the only one we make. Apple handles that address under its own privacy policy, and you can leave the TestFlight programme from inside the TestFlight app at any time. If you leave the Apple Account field blank we use your contact address for this too.
